Come and Get It!

This lyric from Bethel Live's "Your Presence" has been resonating in my head for 2 days now. It says:

"If you want it, come and get it for crying out loud. This love that He has given for you was never in doubt."

I love it because it is raw and real. For believers in Christ, God's love is so available to us. His presence, His goodness, His mercy, all right there, waiting for us to take hold of it. I feel like so many times we feel alone or abandoned or downcast, when God's word encourages us in Psalm 42:5 saying:

"Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God."

We know what to do and have access to all of God, as Father, Bridegroom, and Comforter.

"Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7

"Trust in Him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us." - Psalm 62:8

If you want it, come and get it, for crying out loud!

I Found A Love

This is an echo of my heart and the revelation in my post, "The One" (http://undeservingandgrateful.blogspot.com/2011/07/one.html). Really listen to her ad libs at the end.

by Ben Cantelon

When I call on your name you answer
When I I fall you are there by my side
You delivered me out of darkness
now I stand in the hope of new life

By grace I'm free
You've rescued me
All I am is Yours

I've found a love a love greater than life itself
I've found a hope stronger and nothing compares
I once was lost now I'm alive in you

You're my God and my firm foundation
It is you whom I'll trust at all times
I give glory and praise, adoration
To my Saviour who's seated on high

Love came down and rescued me
I thank You, I thank You
I once was blind but now I see
I see You, I see You

Great I Am

I wanna to be close, close to your side
So heaven is real and death is a lie
I wanna hear voices of angels above
Singing as one

Hallelujah Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty Great I Am

I wanna be near, near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
Singing as one

Hallelujah Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty Great I Am

He's the Great I Am Great I Am

The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty

There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
